Her boundless energy and enthusiasm for life illuminated the lives of all those who knew her, an inspiring whirlwind of passion who always believed that life was for living.
A large proportion of the last few months was spent under the care of the oncology, neurological, and palliative care teams of UCLH, who did everything within their power to help Nicola fight the breast cancer that rapidly spread throughout her body. Everyone involved in her treatment provided wonderful care and comfort to both of us.
I would like to direct any donations to the fund set up in Nicola's memory for the benefit of the oncology care facilities at the hospital.
